There are several new projects coming to the Bravo television network, including a game show called I’d Kill for That. The show is described as “Double Dare meets Dolce & Gabbana and Wipeout meets Wang.” Each week, friends, co-workers and family members will compete against each other in a series of trivia, brain teasers and hilarious physical obstacles to win prizes of their dreams. It will be produced by Embassy Row.
According to an article from RealScreen.com, German broadcaster RTL is filling its new channel RTL+ with 60 episodes of a local version of both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Nerds will no doubt leave comments that say that it’s been about a decade since the country had a version of either. “We absolutely love game shows and believe Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy fill a huge gap in the current market, and appeal to both those who fondly recall the original runs as well as viewers who’ve never seen the shows,” Astrid Quentell, SPT Germany MD, said in a statement.
Deadline is reporting that the hypnotism-themed game show imported from the UK will be hosted by the actor and co-fronted by the hypnotist from the UK version, Keith Barry. Production starts in July.
