Find out the rules and check out some videos and photos of the new UK Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.

Next week is a pretty big week for UK and US game show fans alike: new British versions of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! launch on ITV. There’s a lot of excitement and energy across the game show world for these two, and details about each are finally coming out to get you more enthusiastic.

*Wheel of Fortune kicks off on Saturday, January 6th, at 6:00PM UK. Graham Norton hosts the updated version of the iconic word game. Three contestants spin the wheel and hope to spin big money and solve the Hangman-style puzzles while avoiding Bankrupt. The UK version is essentially an hour-long weekly primetime edition of the half-hour daily US counterpart. Money on the wheel ranges from £100 to £500 at first, working its way up to £1,000 by the end. Buying vowels costs £100. Several Toss-Up puzzle rounds occur through the show to earn the contestants fast money.

Two bonus rounds are played during the show: one mid-game for a holiday and the final end game which is essentially the American end game where contestants spin a smaller bonus wheel and try to solve a bonus puzzle for something between £15,000 and £50,000.

*Jeopardy! starts its run on January 1st at 5:45PM UK before moving into its daily 4:00PM UK time slot. Stephen Fry presents the classic answers-and-questions game. Jeopardy! UK will be played similar to the US version but with an additional Jeopardy! round before moving into Double Jeopardy!. Clues in the first two rounds range from £25 to £150 and in round two £50 to £300. The show does appear to be using returning champions as well. 20 episodes have been ordered. Some videos have been posted to the show’s social channels. Take a look at a few previews here!
