AXS TV Brings Back Cash Cab
Cash Cab is coming back. Again! Find out all the details of the new musical version.
There are three things certain in life: death, taxes, and Cash Cab will be on television somewhere. Four years after its most recent revival ended, AXS TV will bring back the popular quiz show for a new season with a musical twist. Now titled Cash Cab Music, the series will feature host Adam Growe surprising passengers with a chance to win cash by answering music-themed questions. Cash Cab Music debuts January 8th at 10:00PM ET on AXS TV.
Each episode sees contestants take part in a surprise game show, answering questions inside the Cash Cab on the way to their destination. Questions range in value from $50 to $100 with a final round where questions are worth $200 each. The end game, the new Cash Cab Karaoke, will give contestants the chance to double their money if they can sing the correct tune.
Adam Growe previously hosted the Canadian version of Cash Cab from 2008 to 2015. In America the original Cash Cab ran on Discovery from 2005 to 2012 with a reboot in 2017, followed by another one-year reboot on Bravo in 2019. Reruns can still be seen each weekend on Game Show Network.
