The Archives of Game Show History Honors Bob Barker
The Strong Museum of Play's Exhibit to the emcee runs until the end of December.
For astute BuzzerBlog readers who frequent our ever-growing Almanac page, you’ll note that today, December 12, would have been Price is Right legend Bob Barker’s 100th birthday. In celebration, the National Archives of Game Show History at Strong Museum of Play have created a display of Price is Right memorabilia and artifacts on display through the end of the month.
On display—a small preview of the full-sized exhibit on the history of game shows planned for 2026—include the iconic brass Any Number game board, a Price is Right college pendant, game price displays, tickets and more.
